Inaugural Applecross Eisteddfod - Solo Competition

Applecross Calisthenics Club  will be hosting the Inaugural Applecross Eisteddfod in October 2022. This event will be a Calisthenics solo competition for all ages and clubs. The competition will be held across three* dates from 14th-16th October at the Swan Park Theatre.


Limited spots will be offered for each age group, so an Expression of Interest (EOI) process will happen in July, with official registrations opening in August.


EXPRESSION OF INTEREST(EOI) & REGISTRATIONPROCESS 


1. EOIs open via the Applecross Calisthenics Club website at 6pm, Monday 11th July. 


2. EOIs close at 11pm, Thursday 21st July. 


3. Each section is capped at 20* performers. The first 20 EOIs received for each age group will be offered a position in the Eisteddfod. An email will be sent by Friday 29th July with a link to final registration and payment, via TryBooking. This will need to be completed and paid by 11pm on Friday 5th August. *Please note, if sections do not reach capacity, then some sections that have a wait-list will be increased.


4. Wait-listed performers will be emailed if a position becomes available by Monday 8th August with a link to final registration and payment, via TryBooking. This will need to completed and paid by 11pm on Sunday 14th August.

Calisthenics Association of WA Inc. Annual General Meeting Wednesday 5 March 2025 Please be advised that the Annual General Meeting of Calisthenics Association of WA Inc. will be held on Wednesday 5 March 2025 at 7pm, Swan Park Theatre, Midvale. Nominations for Positions on the Board Nominations are called for the following positions on the CAWA Board of Management. Nomination forms are available on the CAWA website Governance page or click here . Nominations must be received by the Secretary of the Association by Wednesday 5 February 2025. President (2 years) Treasurer (2 years) Competitions Committee Chairperson (2 years) In accordance with the CAWA Constitution Item 36. Term of Office (3) The maximum term on the Board is (6) six years. As the current occupants of the President and Competitions Committee Chairperson positions have served on the Board of Management for more than six years, they are ineligible for nomination. Financial Members To be eligible to have voting rights you must be a financial member. Any parent who has a child 18 years of age or over and wishes to vote must be a financial General Member. General Member Affiliation must be completed at least 7 days prior to the AGM. Registration link is on the ‘Club Administration’ page on the website or click here . It is important to note that anyone nominated, nominating or seconding a Board nomination must be a financial member of the Association. Proxy Voting A financial member may appoint an individual who is a financial member as his or her proxy to vote and speak on his or her behalf at an Annual General Meeting or Special Meeting.
